One of the best things you can do for your skin is to wash it daily with a cleanser. Makeup remover wipes are great for traveling, but I highly suggest washing your face at least one day. Drink More Water
One of the skincare habits, to strive for is drinking plenty of water each day. Water helps get rid of toxins in the body and skin. So try to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day for more radiant skin. Your skin will thank you for it later on in life.
As you age, overtime old skin cells build up which causes your skin to look dull and rough. So it is important to develop skincare habits like exfoliating now to remove these dead skin cells. Exfoliating the skin one or twice a week will make your skin look smooth and healthy.
To look youthful past your thirties, you are going to have to start getting some sleep. Not enough sleep can accelerate the aging process, yikes! When you go into a deep sleep, growth hormones increase which repairs damaged skin cells. So without adequate sleep, more skin damage is likely to occur resulting in noticeable signs of aging.
Lack of sleep can also lead to bags under eyes, dryness, visible wrinkles, weight gain, breakouts and more. So next time you are tempted to stay up for another episode of that new Netflix series you are watching, you may want to rethink it.
Protect Your Skin From Sun Damage
An easy way to protect your skin is by wearing sunscreen daily. Even in the winter, it is important to remember to rub a little on your face before heading out. Sun damage is no joke and certainly speeds up the aging process. Skin damage can even occur from being exposed to the sun through a window. So definitely practice good skincare habits like wearing sunscreen daily.
