Galentine’s Day

I cannot believe that it is already February, which means we are finally in the month of love. Valentine’s Day is a little over a week away and I am so excited about it. I loved being able to team up with my Dallas blogger friends today to share with you our way of styling pieces for Galentine’s Day. For the single ladies who have plans to go out with their friends to the wife cooking a romantic dinner for her and her husband, we have something for everyone. We want to show you how you can always add your own personal touch when you are styling your outfit for Valentine’s Day.

My style is a mix of dark glam with a little bit of edge. I wanted to reflect my style when creating my look for Valentine’s Day. I rarely ever wear really bright colors so this burgundy lace dress was the perfect item for me. The look was almost too dressy for my taste so I added a little bit of flare to the overall look with a leather moto jacket. I feel like you can never go wrong by draping any kind of jacket over your shoulders. My outfit was created to be inspiration for a hot date night with your man or a night out with the girls. To achieve this look is so simple, just grab your favorite fitted dress and drape that leather jacket of yours over the shoulders for the perfect Valentine’s Day look.

For Valentine’s Day, we are going to take it easy this year with just the two of us. We plan on having a nice dinner together at one of our favorite restaurants in Dallas. We are constantly on the go lately, so I am looking forward to being able to spend time just with him that night. After we have dinner together, my plan is to try and convince him to take me to see “Fifty Shades Darker.” He is a typical guy who doesn’t exactly care for the movie series, however fingers crossed since it’s Valentine’s Day I can talk him into it. So we are keeping it simple this year, dinner and movie just us two. What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Share with me below in the comments section!¬†
