Today I wanted to share with you guys a pretty cool experience that I had this past week. I was asked to attend the Luxe Fashion Show in honor of the 100th running of the Indy 500 that was last Sunday. If you follow me on Snapchat (styleonedge) then you probably have seen enough of this event because I posted so many photos on there but for those of my readers who do not have Snapchat I wanted to share my experience with you also. So I have never sat front row VIP at a big fashion show before so for me personally this experience was a treat and something that I did not want to pass up on. The night was so perfect, they had a VIP pre-fashion show party that includes light bites and cocktails, which was so much fun. After we all mingled for a little bit we were then escorted to the fashion show.
The fashion show was so incredible and I cannot believe that they asked me to sit front row (it was amazing)! I should clarify that I am in no way bragging about this experience, I just wanted to share this with my readers because it was my first big moment where I felt like a real fashion blogger. I am from a teeny tiny town in Arkansas where these opportunities just were not available to me or my friends growing up. So that is the reason why I was so excited to experience this moment and share it with my readers. Anyways back to the fashion show, I loved the entire show. The show was hosted by National GQ Insider, Sabir Peele and styled by GQ Executive Stylist, Brett Fahlgren. The show had many guest appearances including four top IndyCar drivers. Some of the brands that were featured were Nordstrom, Brooks Brothers, Tory Burch, Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropolgie, etc.
So I did take some photos but majority of them were on my phone so the image quality is not the best but I still thought that you might enjoy seeing some of the looks that I caught on camera that night. You can also shop my outfit details below by clicking on one of the images that you are wanting to purchase. I hope that you enjoyed this fun post about a fun experience that I recently had. A special thanks to Bandy Carroll Hellige, PR agency for inviting me to the event and making me feel so special.
