Memorial Day Weekend In Style With Marks & Spencer

Life is short, so this summer I am challenging myself to make every moment count! I am trying to focus more on what matters in life. So that is why I have been planning trips to go to see the world outside of my own. I am ecstatic about spending this upcoming weekend in Chicago. I love celebrating Memorial Day Weekend because it is always full of fun memories. So that is why I am sharing how to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend in style with outfit inspiration from Marks & Spencer.

The right outfit can seriously make any event special. So I always try to plan out my outfits in advance before traveling (click HERE for packing tips). If you feel confident in what you are wearing, it will make your day that much better. I can tell the difference in my confidence when I love what I am wearing.

For my Chicago trip, I did a little online shopping at www.marksandspencerlondon.com/us to find the right looks. I love all of their clothing pieces are timeless, so they never go out of style. When you find items like these, it is worth the investment for the high quality that you receive. I mean why not splurge now so you can save later, right? Normally, I get a little anxious about purchasing clothing online before a big trip because it might not fit. I am so happy that I tried it out anyways. The online shop has a size guide that is incredible. Seriously guys, I just put in all of my measurements, and everything fit perfectly!

Memorial Day Weekend Outfit Ideas

When coming up with outfit ideas for this weekend, I went for more casual, chic looks. I like to wear versatile pieces that can be either dressed up or down. I kept this idea in mind when shopping online.

I fell in love with the dramatic sleeve on this top. The perfect cherry on top of a fabulous outfit. Also, the shoes are everything! I have this thing for embroidery this season, so I was thrilled to find these.

(and yes, I did wear this top backward on purpose because I love the button detail in front)

Cold shoulder dresses are my favorite, and this one pops with the fun colorful print. A huge trend this summer is going to be moving from neutrals to bold colors. So you want to stock up on bright pieces like this one.

Bardot blouses are my favorite right now if you haven’t already noticed. Also, I snagged this pair of skinny jeans to try out. I usually have the hardest time finding jeans that fit well. These M&S jeans fit perfectly; I promise this is the best pair that I own now!

If this isn’t putting you into the celebrating spirit, I’m not sure what will. Styling outfits are such a fun way to express who are and how you feel! So I challenge you this summer to embrace your style and make the most out of every moment. You deserve it!

Also, keep in mind that you don’t have to wait for a special night to dress up. I love to spice up a work day by dressing up randomly. Treat each day like a runway show, just waiting to see your new creation!
