This post is sponsored by Bed Bath & Beyond, a brand that I love. As always, all opinions are 100% my own!

Bed Bath & Beyond Wedding Registry Tips And Tricks
As the old saying goes, “the early bird catches the worm.” Well, this is true when it comes to planning the different parts of your wedding as well. Aim to schedule your wedding registry appointment four to six months before the big day. You will give your guests plenty of time to shop before the wedding.
Ask For Everything You Want
During our appointment at Bed Bath & Beyond, our in-store consultant did encourage us to add all of our favorite items to our wedding registry. You do not have a limit on how many items you can register for so this is time to add everything you love. Plus since it is so easy to manage your registry online, you can always edit the list later.
Include Enough Wedding Gifts
Make sure that you include enough gifts on your wedding registry. I know that in the past when I have attended weddings, it is always difficult if there isn’t anything left over to buy. To avoid receiving wedding presents that you do not necessarily need or want, try to register for more gifts than you have guests.
Pro tip: Add individual items to your wedding registry rather than full sets to increase the number of items.
Different Price Points
Okay, so we all love the fine china that we have drooling over since we started this whole process, but just remember that not everyone is going to be able to spend over $100 on you. You definitely do not want your guests to feel uncomfortable when viewing your registry.
So try to select items at a variety of price points that there is something for every budget. Create a list of items that are under $50, under $75, under $100, under $200 and so forth.
Make It A Date
Okay, so try to remember that even though your significant other seems to care less about the wedding registry, you still need to include them in this venture. So I suggest you both go online to Bed Bath & Beyond and schedule your in-store appointment together. Phillip and I actually made a date out of it, wedding registry for four hours and then dinner afterward.
Both of your family members and friends will be shopping for you guys as a couple. So you both need to be able to pick out items to build your dream home.
Consider Your Lifestyle
Before you rush off to your in-store appointment, think about your lifestyle as a couple. What style do you guys want to incorporate into your new home together? For example, you may love floral, but they might love marble.
Find a way to combine the styles that you love in a way that compliments each other. Then during your registry, select items that fit your unique style as a couple.
Pro tip: View this post for questions to start asking yourselves before planning the wedding.
Make It Convenient For Guests
You need to consider your guests when selecting stores for your wedding registry. For starters, you only want to select up to three stores maximum. Anything higher than that number becomes too much to keep up with, trust me!
Try to make at least one of those stores a national brand, like Bed Bath & Beyond. You want all of your guests to have easy access to your registry. If you set up a wedding registry only at your local boutique, chances are that you will receive a lot of random gifts. Stores like Bed Bath & Beyond are awesome because they have locations all over the U.S.
Pro tip: Find stores that have an online portal so that your guests can shop your wedding registry picks online.
Update Wedding Registry Often
Don’t just forget about your wedding registry after your in-store appointment. Log in to your online portal and make sure all of the items are correct. Also, check back every now and then to update your list.
Pro tip: Add a new item to your wedding registry list for every purchase that has already been made by a guest.
Check Return Policy
You definitely want to make sure that the store(s) you choose to have a great return policy. For example at Bed Bath & Beyond they pride themselves on having a zero-hassle return policy. You need this just in case, you end up with duplicates of one item. No one needs two Kitchenaid mixers, sad to say.
15 Wedding Registry Ideas To Use As Inspiration
KitchenAid Artisan 5 qt. Stand Mixer
The number one item on my wedding registry was this fabulous white KitchenAid stand mixer. I have been wanting one of these for quite some time now, but I knew I should save it for my registry one day. Let me tell you, it is totally worth the wait.
The tilt head of this mixer allows for easy access to whatever you are mixing together. My favorite part is that I don’t have to stand and hold a mixer the entire time. With this style, you can turn it on and let it work it’s magic while you take care of other things. Pretty cool, huh?
Olivia & Oliver Harper Organic Shape Gold 5-Piece Place Setting
Some people say that you should not bother with adding fine china to your wedding registry; I disagree with this. If you host dinner parties (like I want to start doing again) then you need a nice set of fine china. So it really depends on your lifestyle and if you think you will actually use them or not. The gorgeous place setting by Olivia & Oliver that I went with is perfect to use for dinner parties, celebrating the holidays, etc. For me, I wanted to find a set of fine china that could work for multiple occasions. What do you think?
Olivia & Oliver Madison Gold White Wine Glasses
The white wine glasses that we went with from Bed Bath & Beyond are by Olivia & Oliver as well. The wine glasses really complimented the place setting, and the price is amazing, so needless to say they were too perfect to not add to our wedding registry.
Reed & Barton 45-Piece Kendrick Gold Flatware Set
The flatware set that we went with by Reed & Barton were the icing on the cake for the ultimate table setting. What I really liked about this style is it can be used for formal occasions and everyday meals, too! So you will definitely get a lot of use out of this set if you decide to add it to your registry.
Not to mention, the design is so beautiful! I love how it has a classic look with a modern twist. As you can tell, I am a huge sucker for anything gold!
Ring Video Doorbell
Another thing that I love are smart home products, nerdy right? So I could not resist adding this ring video doorbell to our wedding registry. I am so glad that we have it now because it actually does make me feel safer at home.
Now I can answer the door without having to even open the door. For example, as a blogger I receive multiple packages so if I am away I can communicate with the delivery guy through my smartphone to leave the package at the apartment office instead. How cool is that?
Cuisinart Classic Stainless Steel 17-Piece Knife Block Set
You know how in the beginning I told you to take inventory of your home to see what all you need prior to your appointment. Well this is one of the items we knew going into our wedding registry we needed to upgrade.
The ones we were using are really nice but the handles are wood, so it was tricky washing them after each use. Which is the reason why we went with this knife block set, the stainless steel look is a timeless style. Plus, they look amazing next to our cute new SMEG toaster!
Anolon Nouvelle Copper Stainless Steel 10-Piece Cookware Set
So this cookware set by Anolon is a fun item that I did not necessarily need but really wanted for our kitchen. Our cookware set is fine, but this one is too gorgeous to leave off of our wedding registry. I am so glad that I went for it, because it has been such a joy to use these for cooking at home.
The cookware set is the perfect blend of stylish and functional, which is typically what I look for when shopping. The 10-piece set includes: 8″ and 10.5″ French skillets, 1.25-qt. saucepan with lid, 2.5-qt. saucepan with lid, 3-qt. sauté pan with lid, and 6.5-qt. casserole with lid.
Oneida Lux Silicone Copper Kitchen Utensils
A cookware set isn’t complete without a complimentary set of kitchen utensils right? So that is exactly why I went with these copper kitchen utensils by Oneida.
Verilux Happy Light Liberty 5K Natural Spectrum Energy Lamp
Call us weird, but we have been dying to try out this Verilux happy light to see if it really works or not. I am excited to say, it actually does work. When I am at home working, I just plug it in beside me on my desk.
The happy light really helps me focus while giving me the dose of energy that I need to complete tasks. Since we both work from home now, we don’t get nearly as much sunlight exposure in the winter as we need. The device helps to boost our mood, so we don’t catch those winter blues.
Also, we went with the smaller size, but trust me it is still very powerful. It has been perfect for us since we both love to travel so much. You take it with you when you travel this year.
SMEG 50’s Retro Style 2-Slice Toaster
We really did need a good toaster in our life. So that was another item that was a must-have on our wedding registry. We went with the SMEG 2-slice toaster since it is just the two of us.
The style of this little toaster is everything, it matches all of our other items as well. Not sure if you are catching an overall theme here or not, but majority of our kitchen items are stainless steel and copper.
Ninja Cooking System with Auto-iQ
Okay, this is another splurge item that is totally worth considering for your wedding registry. The cooking system by Ninja is perfect for families like us that are constantly on the go!
The versatile 4-in-1 system includes: a slow cooker, stove top for searing and sautéing, steamer and even an over for baking. Too cool, right? Okay, so it gets even better…not only can you do all of those things with this one product but it also has Auto-iQ technology.
Basically you can select a recipe on the device, add ingredients and then it will cook it all for you. I was sold after reading about this feature alone.
iRobot Roomba Wi-Fi Connected Vacuuming Robot
Another smart home innovation that we did decide to add to our wedding registry is the iRobot Roomba with WiFi connection. Now that we have Piper (our puppy), our floors seem to constantly have dust, dirt and fur on them. So we knew we had to add a high quality vacuum cleaner to our registry.
Why not add one that does the work for you though? We went with this particular option because it syncs to our smartphone. We can basically put this device on a set cleaning schedule and it will dock itself on the charger once the job is complete. Gotta love technology right?
Side note: Piper is so hilarious around this thing, she doesn’t quite know what to think about her new brother Roomba haha
iFetch Frenzy Interactive Dog Toy
If you know me at all, you know that I am a huge animal lover. So naturally we had to add gifts on our wedding registry for Pipey too! I mean, she’s deserves a present too right?
She loves her latest toy, the iFetch Frenzy. Basically she can play fetch by herself when we are busy working at home or even away. I hate seeing that sad little face when she brings her ball to me but I can’t play at the moment. I am so happy that she has this interactive toy to play with now!
Natural Home Products Moboo 4-Piece Multicolor Mixing Bowl Set
To go with our new KitchenAid mixer, we added this pretty multicolor mixing bowl set to our wedding registry. I love how they easily stack on top of each other for storage purposes. These bowls are an eco-friendly alternative to the typical plastic mixing bowl set.
Petcube Bites Interactive Wi-Fi Pet Camera and Treat Dispenser
Last, but certainly not least another favorite wedding registry item that I will share with you is the Petcube Bites Camera and Treat Dispenser. Yes, I know, another gift for Piper! However, it is also a gift for us as well because we can easily interact with our little girl even when we are away.
With the pet camera, you can watch your pup live from your smartphone. Even better than that though is our favorite feature, the treat dispenser. We can reward Piper with a yummy treat for being a good pup when we aren’t home.
The Petcube device makes us feel better knowing that she isn’t completely alone when we are away from home. If you have a pet, I highly suggest that you add this to your wedding registry, it’s worth it!
